Our story
One room, two ovens, and a very good roaster down the road.
We took over a shut-down newsagent in 2016 with a second-hand espresso machine and a plan that barely stretched past the first winter. Nine years later we’re still here, and most mornings still start with the same three regulars at the window table.
Everything on the counter is baked in the back that morning. The coffee is roasted three miles away and changes with the season. If you ask what’s good, you’ll get an honest answer rather than whatever we need to shift.
